NIKKI BEACH TO OPEN NEW CITY LOCATION

    MIAMI, FL, December 2007 / -- The concept behind Nikki Beach™, the jet-setting South Beach hot spot for the elite, has expanded through the years and in some cases modified its trendy beach concept to a more upscale lounge experience that’s in keeping with the location.  The metropolis of Nikki Beach now includes trendy venues in Marrakech, Midtown Manhattan and soon to open this month -- Nikki Coconut Grove.
     Providing an elegant escape for the upscale business market, Nikki Coconut Grove will open adjacent to Sonesta Bayfront Hotel at 2889 McFarlane Road in Coconut Grove, Florida.  Brian Molloy, Nikki Beach Hotel & Resort’s Executive Chef, has been assigned to open this location after successfully opening Mexico, and Marbella.  Bruce Hanrahan, General Manager says that Nikki Coconut Grove will offer the Aperitif Party, or happy hour, from 4–7 p.m. seven days a week, in addition to a full lunch and dinner menu and a wide selection of wine.  The venue will also include a street level, European-style deli café that will serve breakfast, lunch and specialty coffee. After the opening, Chef de Cuisine Tommy Nguyen will take over and oversee the launch of “Amazing Sundays” – a brunch that will include a five to seven course experience and a la carte menu. Beginning in February, special “Themed Nights” will take food and wine enthusiasts on a culinary journey of wine-producing regions.   Nikki Coconut Grove’s opening is due in large part to the hard work of its opening team comprised of Molloy, Hanrahan, Nguyen and Marie-Claire Holthuizen who oversees public relations.
    Defined as the “sexiest party on earth” by The London Observer, Nikki Beach venues around the world have become synonymous with upscale food and entertainment and Nikki Coconut Grove will undoubtedly become the new place to party where beautiful people will go to see and be seen, enjoy good food and have a great time.   Every detail of this 3,000 sq. ft. indoor and outdoor space will have the Nikki touch.  The sounds of Nikki Beach will be spun by a resident DJ with music from around the world, and servers will wear designer-made uniforms by Lubna Al-Zawawi.  The décor will include custom-made furniture in natural woods from Vietnam, free-flowing white curtains, and plush champagne beds and lounge chairs.

    The Nikki Beach lifestyle has broadened its horizons with the opening of Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts at exotic locations frequented by celebrities such as Bruce Willis, Bono, Sharon Stone, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.  Locations include Saint Tropez, St. Barth,  Marbella, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Sardinia, Venice, Marrakech, New York City, and Hollywood, Fl.
