Nikki Beach will take its place at the foot of the red carpet for the 2nd year for one of the most glamorous events in the world, The Venice Film Festival. In collaboration with world-renowned cultural foundation and the founder of the Venice Film Festival, La Biennale di Venezia, Nikki Beach offers its guests an exciting calendar of events and entertainment.
The small Venetian island of Lido comes alive as the international ‘rich and famous’ travel to Italy for the best parties in Europe. Celia, International Marketing Manager of Nikki Beach says that Lido is definitely the place to be to during these spectacular summer days. And Nikki Beach certainly knows the best places to be. With 17 entertainment venues across the globe, it is no stranger to the world-famous celebrity and jetsetter in search of the ultimate party. Stars literally waltz from the red carpet into its flowing white location, architecturally designed and constructed with title sponsor Jaeger-leCoultre for the festival and aptly titled “The Nikki Beach Jaeger-LeCoultre Terrace”.
Alessandro Copetti, owner and creator of U-Vola Speaker systems is the project architect and sponsor for the event. ‘We have created a Nikki Beach in the most beautiful and exclusive location, surrounded by natural beauty of the Mediterranean Ocean and the excitement of the red carpet”, he says. “Our guests lounge, dine, and party in the Nikki Beach Jaeger LeCoultreTerrace amidst plush-pillowed beds and signature white teepees with the stunning backdrop water view.” Both day and night, Nikki Beach clients experience the most glamorous movie premieres, luxurious fashion shows, and unique showcase of international artists and renowned DJ’s.
Melissa Stewart, of Nikki Beach Italy is eagerly counting down the days to the 64thrVenice Film Festival held this year from August 29 - September 8, 2007. “You would not believe the guests we had last year,” she recalls. “We hosted events with Scarlett Johanson, Valentino Rossi, Sting and his wife Trudy Stiler to name a few.”
With an exciting selection of films just released including actors the likes of Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Jude Law and Keira Knightley, this year will be even bigger with high profile guests already confirmed at Nikki Beach. The event calendar is hectic with an international top secret Jaeger-LeCoultre party on the 31st August and a huge Les Etoiles Charity Beach Gala closing party to look out for.
